What is personal information?
Personal information can tell someone who you are. It might include your name, age, photograph, where you live, family information or things you tell us.
Why might we need it?
Sometimes we need information so people supporting a child can understand what help is needed or keep the child safe. We should not collect information just because we are curious.
Who can see it?
Only people who genuinely need information for an appropriate reason should have access. Sometimes information may need to be shared with another responsible organisation or adult to help keep a child safe.
Photos and stories
We believe children deserve privacy and respect. Photos or personal stories should not be used irresponsibly or in ways that could embarrass, exploit or endanger a child.
If something worries you
Speak to a trusted adult or contact [email protected]. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or ask a trusted adult for help.
